Attica - Karrie Lynn (Marko) Jerred, 37, Attica, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Attica on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 5:30 a.m.
Karrie was born in the Home Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana on April 28, 1983. She was the daughter of Jeffrey Marko and the late Roseanna (Whitus) Hall. Karrie grew up in the Ambia community, graduating from Benton Central High School in 2001. She attended Ivy Tech Institute and received her Associates Degree in Business. She later received her LPN Nursing Degree from Ivy Tech Institute. She had been working as an LPN at the Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Williamsport since 2018. She has resided in Attica since 2013.
Karrie enjoyed cooking and crafts. You could find her snuggled up on the couch watching the Hallmark Channel on TV. She enjoyed helping people in any way she could. Her children were her pride and joy.
On June 17, 2018, Karrie married Michael P. Jerred in Hillsboro, IN.
She leaves behind her husband Michael Jerred of Attica along with three children, Kadence Tillotta and Mason Tillotta, both at home in Attica; Gillian Jerred, Dyer, IN; her father and step-mother, Jeffrey & Audrey Marko, Tab, IN; her step father, Clint Hall, Fowler, IN; four sisters, her twin sister, Kandi (Brandon) Nobbe, Batesville, IN; Bridgett (Bobby) Smith, Attica; Faith Marko, Lafayette and Peggy Zywiec, Ambia, IN; a brother, Jared (Nancy) Zywiec. Virginia; her two pet pit bulls, Chancie and Creed. She was preceded in death by a brother, T.J. Marko along with her mother Roseanna.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, December 30th from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, December 31st at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in the Fowler Cemetery, next to her mother, in Fowler, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. All attendees coming to the funeral home will be required to wear a mask and keep social distancing from the family.
