West Point - Kenneth Lee James, 61, West Point, passed away in the Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at 8:48 a.m.
Kenny, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Lafayette, Indiana on December 5, 1964. He was the son of the late John Calvin and Mabel Ann (Willy) James and was raised by his step-mother, Elizabeth (Watkins) James. He has lived all of his life in the West Point community, graduating from McCutcheon High School. He along with his father, owned and operated the James Auto Salvage Yard in West Point. He leaves behind two sons, Ryan James, West Point and Andy (Mackenzie) James, Graysville, TN; seven grandchildren, Ginny James, Aaden James, Maddie James, Zoey James, Emma James, Quityn James and Grayson James. Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Saturday, September 26th from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the West Point Cemetery, West Point, IN.
