Attica - Kenneth Lewis Mornout, 70, Attica, passed away at his home in Attica on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 9:25 a.m.
Kenneth was born in Williamsport, Indiana on March 22, 1950. He was the son of the late Lewis Dale Mornout and Marjorie Farrol (Kane) Mornout Phillips. Kenneth was raised in West Lebanon, graduating from Seeger Memorial High School in 1969. He has lived most of his adult life in Attica.
Kenneth formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica and Staleys in Lafayette.  He retired from C & D Battery in Attica in 2019.  Kenneth enjoyed spending time at the Attica Depot watching the trains pass through town.
He was formerly married to Connie Mycroft.
He leaves behind his former wife, Connie King, South Bend; two sons, Kenneth L. Mornout, Jr. and Dustin A. Mornout, both of South Bend; a half sister, Marsha Martin, Lafayette; a step sister, Janet Summers, New Concord, KY. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Mornout; a brother, Dale Mornout; a step brother, Charles Phillips and a half sister, Christa Knauer.
There will be no services for Kenneth and following cremation, his remains along with his son's remains will be buried together in the Riverside Cemetery, in Attica.
