Lafayette - Kim Keller, 75, Lafayette and formerly of Attica, passed away quietly in her home in Lafayette, with her cousin, Karen Brooks, by her side on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 2:45 p.m.
Kim was born in Marion, Ohio on December 2, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Clarence King and Florence Virginia "Fudge" (Loughridge) Keller. Kim was raised in Marion, Ohio, graduating from Marion Harding High School in 1969. She later received her B.S. degree in Health from West Liberty College in 1973. She later received her masters degree from Mary Grove College in1999. Kim went on to be a health and physical education teacher at Tri Valley High School in Dresden, Ohio and later retired from teaching at Whitehall-Yearling High School in Whitehall, Ohio in 2000. Kim later moved to Attica to assist with healthcare of her cousin King Keller in 2012. After King's passing in 2016, she moved to Lafayette to stay with her cousin, Karen Brooks.
Kim was a die-hard Ohio State and Cincinnati Bengal fan. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Kim leaves behind her sister, Kay (Steve) Snyder, Westerville, OH; her cousin, Karen Brooks, of Lafayette, with whom she made her home with; a nephew, Kyle of California; her nieces, Marley, Haley and Sienna; her adopted nieces, Kaya, Kierra and Austin Brooks; her great-nieces Oakley and Hayhay; her great-nephew, Kase; a first cousin, Karla (Gary) Scott and a second cousin, Karleen Lipe and her sons, Brandon Lamie and Christian Lipe. She was preceded in death by her nephew, King Keller and a great-nephew, Levi Mayse.
As per Kim's request, cremation services were accorded her and a celebration of her life will be held later in Lafayette.
