Hillsboro - Larry Wayne Hall, 76, formerly of Hillsboro and had been residing in Dallas, TX, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Dallas on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
Larry was born in Danville, IL on May 12, 1945. He was the son of the late Harold and Pearl (Cooper) Hall. Larry was raised in Hillsboro, graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1963. He attended Danville Junior College and Vincennes University. He received his bachelors degree in education from Indiana State University.
While at Vincennes University, he met the love of his life, Rebecca "Becky" Fugit, and they were marred in 1971 in Terre Haute, IN. They later moved to Dallas, where Larry taught school until his retirement.
Larry enjoyed reminiscing about old cars and talking about the "Good Old Days".
Larry leaves behind three brothers, Mike Hall, Hillsboro; Alan (Margaret) Hall, rural Veedersburg and Brian Hall, Enid, OK. He was preceded in death by his wife, Becky on September 13, 2009; his parents, Harold & Pearl Hall along with a sister-in-law, Carole Hall.
A memorial gravesite service will be held on Friday, July 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
