Mellott - Leonard Evans Palin, 68, of Mellott, passed away at his home on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 6:10 a.m.
Leonard was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana on July 2, 1957.  He was the son of the late Donald Monroe and Earline S. (Shultz) Palin.  Leonard was raised in Mellott, graduating from Fountain Central High School in 1976.  He later lived in Laramie, WY for a few years, until moving back to Mellott in 2010.
Leonard working as a carpenter in construction.
He was a member of the NRA, AARP and Arbor Day.
Leonard leaves behind his three brothers, Kenton Palin, Mellott; Curtiss (Rhonda) Palin, Estes Park, CO and Leroy Palin, Mellott; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Palin and his parents.
As per Leonard's request, cremation services were accorded him with no services planned.
