Attica - Linda Sue (Von Berg) Lawson died at 2:44 a.m. on December 2, 2025 in Buffalo, NY.  Arthur D. Lawson Sr. died at 4:24 p.m. on May 2, 2005 in Williamsport.
Linda was born in Danville, IL on August 1, 1947.  She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Wanda (Morlan) Van Berg.  She grew up in Danville and went to Danville High School.  She moved to Williamsport in 1967 and then to Wilson, NY in 2009.  Together with her husband, they were active in the Joey Lee Lawson Memorial Foundation.
Arthur was born on May 27, 1946 in Crawfordsville.  He was raised and attended school in Crawfordsville.  He moved to Williamsport in 1964.  He worked for Harrison Steel Casting Co. in Attica for 40 years.  He had worked in the south foundry, a fork lift driver and security guard.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Army.
Linda and Arthur were married on September 30, 1967 in Crawfordsville.  Together they had 3 children; Arthur (Kelly) Lawson, Jr. of Wilson, NY, Scott Lawson of Utah, and Joey Lawson who preceded them in death; three grandsons, Arthur Lawson III and Calvin Lawson, both of Wilson, NY and Kurt Lawson who preceded them in death.
Both Linda and Arthur were cremated and a joint gravesite service will be held on Saturday, April 4 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery, Attica with Brother Joel Whitehead officiating.
