Williamsport - Linda Kay (Jernagan) Gregory, 76, Williamsport, passed away at her home, with her family at her side, on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 4:45 a.m.
Linda was born in Pence, Indiana on March 14, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Helen (Armstrong) Jernagan. Linda was a life long resident of Warren County .
Linda graduated from Williamsport High School in 1961. She worked at Quaker Oats in Danville, IL for several years, retiring in 2005.
Linda was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church. She was a member of the Williamsport Red Hat Society. She was an avid bowler and bowled for several years on the Women's League at Shawnee Lanes. She enjoyed, fishing, camping, dancing, reading, working puzzles and crocheting. Much of her free time was spending time with her grandchildren.
On February 20, 1971, Linda married Eugene "Gene" Gregory in Covington, IN.
She leaves behind her husband, Gene of 48 years along with two daughters, Selena (partner-George Sparks) Gregory, Kentland; Melanie (Lawrence) Sells, Westfield, IN; a son, Leonard Gregory, Williamsport; her pet yorkie, Potter; two sisters, Mary (Bill) Shoaf, Williamsport and Maxine Johnson, Conway, AR; seven grandchildren, Colten and Shaylen Gregory; Madelaine Sells; Annette Hyde, Lisa Hayes, Garrett Sparks and Katie Carter; several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jake Jernagan and two sisters, Jeanine Shoaf and Charlene Davis.
As per Linda's request, she will be cremated and a memorial gathering will be held at the Williamsport Christian Church, 20 E. Third St., Williamsport, IN on Saturday, July 27th, from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service time at 11:00 a.m. with Chaplain Rich Stoll officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Franciscan Hospice Care, 1415 Salem St., Lafayette, IN 47904; American Cancer Society, 5635 W. 96th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN  46278 or to American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL  60674.
