Williamsport -Linda Marie (Anderson) Kennedy, 80, Williamsport, passed away quietly in her home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 6:33 p.m.
Linda was born in Marshfield, Indiana on October 27, 1943.  She was the daughter of the late Harold Curtis and Mildred Lois (Davis) Anderson.  Linda was a life resident of Williamsport.
Linda formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica in the core room for 32 years.  She retired from Harrison Steel Castings Company in November 2009.
Linda was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Attica Eagles Lodge # 2596; member of the Ladies of the Moose Auxiliary # 23 of Attica.  She enjoyed reading and formerly enjoyed camping.  She was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan and avid I.U. sports fan.  She loved her family and especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
On February 11, 1961 Linda married Billy Lou Kennedy in Williamsport.  Billy preceded her in death on December 16m 1982.
Linda leaves behind her three children, Jennifer Lou (Steve Bradbury) Gregory, Independence; John (Susan) Kennedy, Williamsport and Catrina (Dino Hyland) Kennedy, Williamsport; two sisters, Aletha (Ron) Bodle, Oakland, IL and Sheila Anderson, Danville, IL; five grandchildren, Ryan Gregory, Nicole (Steve) Cavanaugh, Jason Gregory, Denzel Gregory III, Andrew (Allisa) Hughes; thirteen great-grandchildren, Brianna (Tyler) Leap, Kaylynn Cribbs, Keenan Cribbs, Kaleigh Houle, Noah Gregory, Rory Gregory, Brooklyn Gregory, Addox Mickle, Emmett Gregory, Nashton Gregory, Macyn Hughes, Prestyn Hughes and Addlyn Hughes; four great great-grandchildren, Lawrence James, Lyla Jett, Colson Matthew and Zelda.  Linda was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Natasha Mickle; her husband and her parents.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Monday, October 7th, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a Ladies Auxiliary Memorial Service being held at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.  A celebration of Linda's life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 8th, at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Williamsport.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
