Lora Ann
Muston
Jun 6, 1965 — Feb 8, 2026
Attica
Attica - In Loving Memory of Lora Muston. Lora was born in Lafayette Indiana, on June 6th, 1965 and died February 8th, 2026, in Lafayette Indiana.
Lora moved around a lot as a child into her teens-she considered herself an army brat. But she also had a lot of health struggles even as a child, and into adulthood.
Despite that- Lora Muston was a woman of extraordinary strength, resilience, and heart. She passed after a lifetime of fighting with courage—through hardship, loss, and pain—until her body could fight no more. Those who knew her knew a woman who never quit, no matter how heavy the road became.
Lora was a devoted mother to her two children, first her son Graham, his spouse Damien Holdcraft, and then her daughter Hannah, her spouse Corey Olmstead. whom she loved all fiercely and without condition. She was a proud grandmother to Waylon, Heaven, Nichole, Marcus, and Thomas, and James David (JD) each of whom brought her joy words couldn't express.
One of Lora's greatest passions was gardening. She took immense pride in what she grew with her own hands, finding peace and purpose in nurturing life from the soil. Her garden reflected who she was—strong, patient, fierce and quietly beautiful.
Lora was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Muston; her grandmother, Margaret Hickman; and those she deeply missed and longed to see again. She now rests reunited with her mother, her granny (grimace), her beloved dog, Zander, and his sister, Bailey and dear friends lost recently —a reunion that brings comfort to those left behind.
She is survived by her father, Charles Muston, her sister, Dana Hawkins and her spouse Danny Hawkins, her brother, Chuck Muston, along with her children, grandchildren, and all who were shaped by her strength and perseverance.
Lora's life was not an easy one, but it was meaningful. She endured, she fought, and she loved. Her legacy lives on through her family, her gardens, and the quiet strength she passed down to those who carry her forward.
As per Lora's request, cremation services were accorded her and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
