Attica - Mark Andrew Himes, 55, Attica, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 10:12 a.m.
Mark was born in Lafayette, Indiana on April 10, 1966. He was the son of Silas Himes of Attica and the late Wilma Jean (Roberts) Himes. Mark was a life resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1984.
Mark formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica.
Mark enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed working on his car.
Mark leaves behind his father, Silas, of Attica; his five siblings, John (Wanda) Himes, Terre Haute; Cheryle Himes, Lafayette; Debra Himes-Nunnally, Attica; David (Jennifer) Himes, Veedersburg and James (Erica) Himes, Attica; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Himes; three nieces, Erika Himes, Destiny Himes and Amanda Louise Roemer.
A gravesite service for Mark will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica, on Monday, January 31st at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
