Lafayette - Marsha Jean Taylor, 62, Lafayette and formerly of the Marshfield area in Warren County, Indiana, passed away in the I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 12:14 a.m.
Marsha was born in Danville, Illinois on April 1, 1962.  She was the daughter of late Vernon and Musetta Bernice (Brandenburg) Taylor.  Marsha was raised in Warren County, Indiana near Marshfield and graduated from Seeger High School in 1980.  She went on and graduated from Danville Area Community College in 1982 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science.  She later moved to Lafayette and has resided in Lafayette for the past 43 years.
While living in Lafayette, Marsha worked as an Executive Assistant with Balloon Gallery in Lafayette. More recently Marsha was working at Dana's Fairfield Manufacturing Plant in Lafayette at the time of her death.   Marsha was baptized in the Baptist Church and attended the Marshfield Presbyterian Church and Williams Chapel near State Line.  Her hobbies included flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Marsha leaves behind  a sister, Kay (Dale) Wheeler, Diamond Head, MS; three brothers, Dick (Karen) Taylor, West Lebanon; Jim (Cathy) Taylor, Williamsport and Carl (Mike) Taylor, Lafayette; a brother-in-law, Ron Moody, West Lebanon; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.  Marsha was preceded in death by her parents; her step mother, Dora Mae (Johnson) Taylor; a sister, Maxine Moody and a nephew Brock Moody.
A memorial celebration of Marsha's life will be held at the St. John's Episcopal Church, 600 Ferry St., Lafayette, IN, on Saturday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Bradley Pace officiating.  Memorial contributions in Marsha's memory may be made to the Lafayette Humane Society or the West Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department.  Condolences may be sent
