Brazil, IN - Mary Virginia (Funk) Goodnight, 75, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away in the Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana on Friday, November 4, 2022 at 1:33 a.m.
Mary Virginia was born in Montgomery County, Indiana on February 14, 1947. She was the daughter of the late Orville Eugene and Mary Elizabeth (Dillman) Funk. She was raised east of Attica in Fountain County and later moved to Carmel, Indiana where she graduated from Carmel High School in 1965.She later lived in Filmore, Indiana for twenty years and more recently lived in Brazil for the past 10 years.
Mary Virginia worked as a courier for the UPS Delivery in Indianapolis for 25 years before she retired.
Mary Virginia enjoyed her pet cats and the time spent with her family.
She leaves behind two sons, T.J. Wagoner, Brazil; James McNew, Indianapolis; a sister, Sharon Pheifer, Clayton, IN; four grandchildren, Allyssa Doll, Haley Wagoner, Cody McNew and Casey McNew; several great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica on Thursday, November 10th, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.
