Attica - Mary L. (Taylor) Grinstead, 46, Rob Roy, passed away in the emergency room of the Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital, on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at 11:58 p.m.
Mary was born in Lafayette, Indiana on February 12, 1974. She was the daughter of Herbert Lewis Taylor, Sr.and the late Mable (Smalley) Taylor. Mary grew up in Attica and Metcalf County, KY. She attended Attica High School. She later became a CNA and worked at the Country Care Nursing Center in Williamsport.
Mary enjoyed spending time with her family and also enjoyed coloring on Happy Color.
On May 6, 1995, Mary married Mark E. Grinstead in Attica. They recently celebrated their 25th Anniversary.
Mary leaves behind her husband, Mark of Rob Roy; four sons, Mike Grinstead, Portland Arch; Eric (Shoshanna) Grinstead, Williamsport; Austin Grinstead and Bret Grinstead, both of Rob Roy; her father, Herbert Lewis Taylor, Sr., Seymour, IN; a sister, Cathy Heeter, (Jerry Jon Heeter Jr) Attica; four brothers, Tim (Kris) Smalley, Perrysville; Todd (companion-Carol Kerst) Smalley, Williamsport; Herbert Lewis Taylor Jr. (Angel) Kingman; Tony Taylor (Annie), Glasgow, KY; her uncle, Elmer Smalley, Williamsport; a granddaughter, Everly Grinstead and a grandson, Greyson Grinstead. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mable (Smalley) Taylor along with two brothers, Mike Taylor and an infant Thomas Scott Taylor.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Saturday, July 25th, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with her brother, Tim Smalley officiating.   Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for expenses.
