Attica - Mary Ann (Mickle) Speakman, 74, Attica, passed away in the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 5:43 p.m.
Mary Ann was born in Kramer, Indiana on December 16, 1948.  She was the daughter of the late Ira Elmer and Barbara Ann (Smith) Mickle.  She was raised and educated in Attica.  She formerly worked at Green Giant Foods in Lafayette and later worked as a cook in Windsor Hall at Purdue University.
Mary Ann enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family especially the time with her grandchildren.  She loved to cook for her family.
Mary Ann was formerly married to John Myers and Pearl Speakman.
She leaves behind her daughter, Becky (Tony) Savage, Williamsport; two brothers, William (Nancy) Mickle, Attica and David (Nancy) Mickle, Williamsport; a sister, Janet (Jim) Young, Attica; five grandchildren, Abby Savage, Tony Savage Jr., Lacy Savage, Dylan Savage and Emmy Savage along with several nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by a son, Mathew Speakman and a brother, Jerry Mickle.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Saturday, August 5th, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Josh Barnett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Breast Cancer.
