Attica - Matthew "Matt" Randall Howard, 34, of Attica, died at his residence at 2:22 a.m. on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Matt was born on August 1, 1986 in Lafayette. He was the son of Misty S. Dill and the late Randall Wesley Howard. He was a life resident of Attica and graduated from Attica High School.
Matt worked as a machine operator for Hose Technology. He loved the outdoors and would often spend his time hunting, fishing and mushrooming. He liked to tinker.
Surviving along with his mother, Misty Dill of Attica, are a son, Tyson David Howard, West Lebanon; daughter, Kayleigh Jade Howard, Covington; step-father, Joseph Dean Abert, Arkansas; half sisters, Brandi (Reggie) Meador & Kelly Clinton, both of Attica; a half brother, Eric Joseph Abert, Attica; and nieces Kendall & Amelia Meador. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Bonnie Clinton.
Visitation will be held at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Saturday, March 13, from 2:00 p.m until the service time of 4:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the service. Contributions may be made to the family for expenses. We want to encourage those attending to maintain social distancing and wear a mask.
