Rainsville - Michelle Michael (Jean) Huber, 53, of rural Rainsville, passed away in the Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 8:34 p.m. with her family by her side.
Michelle was born in Home Hospital, Lafayette on June 15, 1971. She was the daughter of Thomas Michael and Leslie Kaye (Rainwater) Jean of Attica. Michelle was raised in rural Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1989. She later moved to Tennessee for a short time, before moving back to Attica.
Michelle was presently working for the Attica Consolidated School Corp. as a bus driver and people knew her from the time she worked at Pizza King in Attica.
Michelle was raised and baptized in the Riverview United Methodist Church in Independence. She was a member of the Attica Moose Lodge # 1482. She was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan and Tennessee Titan football fan. She enjoyed her rides with her husband, Danny on their Harley motorcycle. She cherished her fury huskie dog, Spirit. Family was everything to Michelle and she enjoyed the time spent with them and caring for them.
On August 3, 2013, Michelle married Danny H. Huber at their home under the oak tree in rural Rainsville. She leaves behind her husband, Danny of the past 11 years and a son, Chance Thomas Wolfgang Baer and his fiancée-Kaitlyn Jordan of Rainsville who was the world to Michelle; her parents, Tom & Leslie Jean, Attica and mother and father-in-law, Dick & Kathy Huber of Williamsport; her siblings, Joanna (Jake) Cooley, Tilton, IL; Jason (Melissa) Jean, Lewisburg, OH; Nathaniel (Amanda) Jean, Attica; a half-sister, Laurie (Brian) Stockdale, Hillsboro; her aunts, Lana Rainwater, Attica and Diane Stewart, Indianapolis; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael & Christy Brost, Oxford. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Chester & Evelyn Jean and Leonard & Hazel Rainwater.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Sunday, November 17th, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. A celebration of Michelle's life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 18th, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Rainsville Cemetery, Rainsville, IN. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
