Boswell - Norma J. (Clark) Sigler, 92, of rural Boswell, IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 4:20 p.m. in the Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette, with her family and friends by her side.
Norma was born on October 1, 1932 in Warren County, Indiana, to the late Vista and Lorene (Dysert) Clark.  Norma was a graduate of Ambia High School.
On September 15, 1950, Norma married Ora Joseph Sigler in the Boswell Methodist Church parsonage and celebrated 52 years of marriage before Joseph's passing on June 16, 2003.
Norma worked with her husband, Joe on the family farm, raising Shorthorn Cattle among other animals.  Norma was a bookkeeper for Dalton Equipment and Butler John Deere for many years and worked for the Boswell License Branch.  Recently she volunteered at the Boswell Senior Center.  Norma also worked for Home Health for several years.
Norma was a devoted member of the Tab Church of Christ where she enjoyed serving on many committees.  Norma was a loyal fan of the Indianapolis Fever and Stephanie White, who Joe and Norma followed from high school to college and as a coach.  She made sure the hospital had a television Saturday night so she could watch her team.  I'm sure she has every copy of newspapers with articles of Stephanie.  Go Fever!
Norma leaves behind several nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly, as she loved them.  Twylia A. Barrett, Lafayette; John M. Perrigo, West Point; Marie L. (Dave) Rowe, West Lafayette; Stanley J. (Holly) Clark, West Lebanon; Steve J. (Cheryl) Clark, Williamsport; Gary L. (Kelly) Roe, Fowler; Joetta (Howard) Feuer, West Lafayette and Stuart (Della) Jackson, Petersburg, IL.  Norma is also survived by several great nieces and nephews who always looked forward to their birthday cards with the one stick of gum enclosed with the card.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents Vista and Lorene Clark; her husband Ora J. Sigler; nieces, Pamela J. Hetrick and Linda Roe Hornbeck; two sisters, Anna Perrigo and Doris Roe; a brother, Morris Clark.
A gravesite service for Norma will be held in the Locust Grove Cemetery near Ambia, on Wednesday, July 16th at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rod Andrews officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Tab Church of Christ, 8049 W. Indiana Avenue, Ambia, IN 47917 or to the charity of ones choice.
