Attica - Pamela "Pam" Sue (Foster) Griesen, 80, Attica, passed away in the Ascension St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11:40 p.m.
Pam was born in the Community Hospital, Williamsport, Indiana on December 12, 1944.  She was the daughter of the daughter of the late John David and Thelma Jane "T.J." (Cox) Foster.  Pam was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1963.   As Pam grew up she was active in the Girl Scouts.   She graduated from Adrian College with a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and later received her Masters degree.  While attending Adrian College, Pam was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority.
Pam was an elementary school teacher at Warren Consolidated School System  in Troy, Michigan for 35 years until her retirement from teaching.  Pam enjoyed her yearly college sorority sister's trip to Beaver Island.
Pam was married to Tom Griesen.  After their retirement they spent much of their time in a condominium on Lake Huron.  Following the passing of her husband, Tom Griesen, Pam moved to Attica and has been residing at Autumn Trace.
Pam leaves behind a son, Todd Griesen, Fairbanks, Alaska; two brothers, David W. (Barbara) Foster, Williamsport and John "Jack" W. (Robin) Foster, Salt Lake City, Utah; several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews survive.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Foster Schoonmaker, just six months prior to Pam's passing.
As per her request, cremation services were accorded her and there will be no services.
