Macon, GA - Patricia (Dinwiddie) Blascovich passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023.

Pat was born in 1946 to the late Walter and Mildred Dinwiddie of Pine Village, Indiana. After graduating from Pine Village High School, Pat attended Indiana State University. She went on to work in Chicago, where she met Steve Blascovich, whom she married in 1976. Over the next several years, they lived in Philadelphia and Fort Worth before settling down in Macon.

Pat was an active mother and wife who encouraged a wide variety of activities and interests in her children. Once her children were in school, she devoted herself to PTA activities and encouraged support of Macon's public schools. Pat later worked in several positions at Tinsley Elementary and Central High.

After retirement, Pat became a full-time Nana to five grandchildren. She loved getting to see them grow, and even as Alzheimer's impacted her memory, they could still draw a smile and laugh. In recent months, she enjoyed spending time with her friends at Sanctuary Respite.

Pat is survived by her husband, Steve; her daughter Sarah Brown (Lindsey); her son Andrew Blascovich (Allison); and her five grandchildren: Bethany Brown, Clara Brown, Nathan Brown, Georgia Blascovich, and Shepherd Blascovich. Survivors also include her brother David Dinwiddie (Paula), her cousin Carole Greenburg, brothers-in-law Jim Blascovich (Brenda Major), Ralph Blascovich (Kristen), sister-in-law Mary Beth Wharen (Robert), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial gravesite service will be held in the Pine Village Cemetery, Pine Village, IN on Wednesday, April 5th at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Russ Alley,of the West Point United Methodist Church, officiating.
