Attica - Patsy Marcreena (Sumner) Edmonson, 75, Attica, passed away at her home, with family by her side, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 12:15 p.m.  She had been in failing health the last several months.
Patsy was born in Linton, Indiana on August 3, 1949.  She was the daughter of the late Sam and Elma V. (Blevins) Sumner.  Patsy was raised in Jasonville and Hymera, Indiana and attended Jasonville and Hymera schools.
Patsy has resided in Attica for the past 58 years.
She formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica, retiring in 2015.
She enjoyed watching her family in their activities in school.
On June 4, 1966, Patsy married Jerry D. Edmonson in Farmersburg, IN.  She leaves behind her husband, Jerry of 58 years along with three children, Lori Edmonson and Jerry "Buddy" Edmonson Jr., both of Attica; Ray (Karen) Edmonson, Frankfort, IN; five grandchildren, Stacy Deel, Attica; Marci Battering, Attica; Lee (Terra) Payne, Boswell; Megan (Corey) Peterson, Attica; Jerry "Sonny" (Toni) Edmonson III, Lafayette; ten great-grandchildren, Dean, Deklan, Dalton, Gracie, Zach, Jace, Leon, Mason, Wyatt, Owen and one great-grandchild on the way; three sisters, Carol Duncan, Attica; Peggy (Bill) Edmonson, Hymera, IN and Barb Scott, Colorado.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Sumner and two sisters, Dixie Hyde and JoAnn Anderson.
Cremation services were accorded Patsy and a memorial gravesite service will be held at  Riverside Cemetery, Attica, on Saturday, April 12th, at 11:00 a.m.
