Attica - Paul Daniel Gray, 63, of Attica, died at 10:15 a.m. on Monday June 14, 2021 at the Franciscan Health Lafayette East Hospital, Lafayette.

Paul was born on January 16, 1958 in Williamsport. He was the son of the late John Paul and Judith Marie (Messmore) Gray. He grew up in Attica and graduated from Attica High School in 1976. He moved to New York where he served as a mail carrier. In 1990, he moved back to Attica and had worked as a machine operator for Precision Plastics in Williamsport and C&D Technologies in Attica.

Paul had served in the Army National Guard, training in South Carolina before serving in Indiana. He was a member of the VFW Post #3318 of Attica and the Attica Moose Lodge. He enjoyed spending his free time fishing and golfing.

Paul is survived by brothers, John (Cindy) Gray, North Carolina and Phillip (Glenda) Gray, Fort Wayne; sisters, Rhonda (Rex) Wilson, Attica and Marilyn Watkins, Lafayette; and a cousin, Cynthia (Johnny) Carver, Williamsport. He was also preceded in death by his step mother, Jane Gray, and a brother, Robert Gray.

Cremation will take place with a Gravesite Military Memorial Service being held at the Independence Cemetery, Independence on Saturday, July 10, at 11:00 am. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
