Otterbein - Rebecca "Becky"  Sue Rickey, 58, a long time resident of Otterbein and had been residing in New Market, passed away at her residence in New Market on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 7:14 p.m.
Becky, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Lafayette, Indiana on September 29, 1965.  She was the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Bonnie Mae (Trent) Rickey.  Becky was raised in Otterbein and graduated from Benton Central High School in 1985.
Becky formerly worked at the Shawnee Learning Center south of Attica.  Becky was an avid music fan, with her favorite genre being 80's music.  She also enjoyed listening to the Carpenters music.
Becky leaves behind her sister, Dianna Dewey, Otterbein; her two brothers, Robert Charles (Pamela) Rickey, Green Hill and Michael David (Crystal) Rickey, West Lafayette; her care givers, Nevada and Julie Allen, New Market; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Tuesday, August 27th, from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery, near Green Hill.
