Indianapolis - Regina Fae Shamp, 64, of Indianapolis and formerly of Attica, was fatally injured in a car accident on I-74 east of Crawfordsville, on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 5:18 a.m.
Regina was born in Home Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana on July 29, 1959.  She is the daughter of Velma Lou (Larson) Bond of Kingman.  Regina was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1977.  She later received her Bachelors Degree from Indiana State University in Education.  She went on to receive her medical certificate from Purdue University.  She has resided in Indianapolis since 1984.
Regina was presently working as a lab technician for the Valero Renewable Fuels Plant in Linden, IN.
Regina enjoyed raising flowers and taking care of her animals.
She leaves behind her mother and father, Velma & Max Bond of Kingman; her pet shih tzu, Findley; a step brother, Matthew (Gwen) Bond, Columbus, IN; several aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a step-sister, Amanda Keeling.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, November 3rd from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Johnson officiating.  Inurnment will follow at a later date in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Sterling Christian Church, 701 S. Sterling Avenue, Veedersburg, IN   47987.
