Boswell - Retta Charlene Spradlin, 64, Boswell, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 3:05 a.m.
Retta was born in Muncie, Indiana on November 20, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Henry Rankin and Pauline (Silvers) Spradlin. Retta was raised in Muncie and attended Wapahani High School. She later received an Associates Degree from Ivy Tech in Muncie. Retta has lived for several years in Boswell. She formerly worked at C & D Batteries in Attica.
Retta enjoyed the arts and crafts. She was an avid reader. She was noted for her work ethic.
Retta leaves behind two children, Mary Maxwell, Orland, IN and James Wildrick, Boswell; two sisters , Jeannie Hedgecock-Brooks, Hickman Heights and Libby Spradlin, Muncie; a brother, Jimmy Spradlin, Muncie; four grandchildren, Raven Elizabeth Wildrick, Cayden James Wildrick, Brison James Maxwell and Jaison David Dick. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Henry Spradlin.
As per Retta's request cremation services will be accorded her with no public services.
