Attica - Ricky Gene Mycroft, 72, formerly of Attica and had been residing in Science Hill, KY, passed away in the Green Hill Manor Nursing Center, Greensburg, KY on Thursday, July 1, 2022.
Ricky was born on May 1, 1950 to the late Robert Gene and Patsy J. (Purple) Mycroft. He was raised in Attica and had lived most of his adult life in Attica, before moving to Science Hill, KY in 2014.
Ricky enjoyed walking and going to McDonalds with his sister, Karen.  He loved playing with his nieces and nephews when they were young. He enjoyed watching old westerns and the Andy Griffith Show on television.
Ricky was always happy and was happy to see people come and visit him. He loved to go on long car rides with family.
Ricky leaves behind his sisters, Mary Jane (Jeff) Calvert, Science Hill, KY; Cindy Richardson, Attica; Connie (Ron) King, South Bend, IN; Karen (companion-Charlie Hay) Wilson, Covington, IN and Robin Mycroft, Covington, IN; a special aunt, Wanda Newman, Cayuga, IN and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and step mother, Lula Mycroft; Mother, Patsy Mycroft and step father, Ronnie Shoaf; grandparents, Margaret & Bill Mycroft and Ira & Jennie Purple and an infant brother, Bobbie Dean Mycroft.
A gravesite service will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica, on Wednesday, July 13th at 1:00 p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica, with Pastor Hunter Chadwell officiating.
