Williamsport - Roger Wayne Powers, 71, Williamsport, passed away in the Williamsport Health & Rehabilitation Center, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 4:35 a.m.
Roger was born in Lebanon, Indiana on January 9, 1955. He was the son of the late Virgil and Stella (Smallwood) Powers. He was raised in Attica and attended Seeger Memorial High School. He has resided in Williamsport fo the past 8 years. Roger formerly worked as a welder at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica, until he became disabled. Roger enjoyed the outdoors where he liked to fish. He was a avid football fan and enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts as his favorite team. He enjoyed building cabins out of popsicle sticks. Roger leaves behind his brother, Rick Powers and a nephew, Jason Powers, both of Attica. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ray, Bobby and Ron Powers along with a sister, Pam Bowers. As per Roger’s request, cremation services were accorded him and no formal service will be performed.
