Lafayette - Ronnie Paul Parlier, 69, Lafayette and formerly of Attica, passed away in the Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 9:52 p.m.
Ronnie was born in Hardin, Montana, on January 23, 1957.  He was the son of the late Brice M. Parlier and Betty L. (Lefton) Parlier Brenner.  Ronnie was raised mostly in the Attica area, graduating from Seeger High School in 1975.  In his early years, Ronnie, along with friends, was an originator of what is now the Badlands Off-Road Park.  He loved motocross.
After graduating from high school, Ronnie joined the United States Air Force in July of 1975.  He worked with electronic warfare systems and radio mechanics.  He was honorable discharged in April of 1977 as an Airman First Class.
After the service, Ronnie moved to Florida.  While living in Florida he had many jobs, before retiring as a CAD & Designer from Stainless Fabrications.  He was proud of his achievement with that career.
On July 11, 2006, Ronnie married the love of his life, Virginia "Ginny" M. Blazon, in Tampa, FL, later moving to St. Petersburg.  They loved living near the ocean, looking out over the water and watching the sunsets.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Ginny Parlier; his parents, Brice Parlier and Betty (Ralph) Brenner; his sister, Sharon Arnold.  He leaves behind a step-daughter, Danielle Merrett and her children, Lily and Andrew, St. Petersburg, FL; a sister, Monica Swift (Keith Robinson), Attica; a half-brother, David Sheetz, Salt Lake City, Utah; a brother-in-law, Wayne Arnold, Attica; and many special nieces and nephews.
As per Ronnie's request, cremation services were accorded him and a celebration of his life will be held at the West Mill Social Hall, 115 W. Mill Street, Attica on Saturday, September 26th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
