Crawfordsville - Rosella "Rosie" Marie (Childress) Liles, 77, Crawfordsville, passed away in the Wellbrooke of Crawfordsville, on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 11:56 a.m.
Rosella was born in Lafayette, Indiana on October 19, 1947.  She was the daughter of the late Glen Harrison and Thelma Grace (Lovall) Childress.  Rosella was raised in rural Attica and later lived in Williamsport, Fowler and Mellott before moving to Crawfordsville.  She attended Logan Township and Attica schools.
Rosella formerly worked for Penguin Random House in Crawfordsville until her retirement.
Rosella was a member of the Moose Lodge # 1482 of Attica.  She enjoyed working with crafts, working puzzles and playing bingo.  She also liked to attend flea markets and play with her fur babies.  She was an Elvis Presley fan.
She leaves behind two children, Tony (Brenda) Liles, Clarks Hill and Tammy Lambka, Crawfordsville; five grandchildren, Travis (Autumn) Perkins; Janna (Cody) Wright, Alyssa Lambka; Christina Lambka; David Lambka III; ten great-children, Kaydance, Kinzley, Gunner, Meadow, Maveric, Willow, Maizey, Rosella, Gideon and Colten; three sisters, Virginia Fletcher, Williamsport; Eleanor Childress, Mulberry and Gladys Childress, Lafayette; two brothers, Dewey (Beverly) Childress and Robert (Bonnie) Childress, both of Attica.  She was preceded in death by a son, Glen Willis Liles, five sisters, and four brothers.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, January 17th, from 2:00 p.m. until the service time at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Paws 'n Claws Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 294, Attica, IN   47918.
