Potomac, IL - Roy Lee "Lee Roy" Hulsey, 60, of Potomac, Illinois and formerly of Attica, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly in the emergency room of the Iroquois Memorial Hospital, Watseka, Illinois on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 8:44 p.m.
Lee Roy, as he was known to family and friends, was born in Williamsport, Indiana on March 14, 1962. He was the son of Mary Lou (Haas) Hulsey of Attica and the late Elvin James "Jim" Hulsey. He was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1981. He has resided in Potomac, IL for most of his adult life. While living in Potomac Lee Roy operated a whole sale dealership.
In his past time, Lee Roy enjoyed the time spent with his family. He enjoyed watching sports and fishing.
Lee Roy was formerly married to Tammy Rogers.
Lee Roy leaves behind his fiancée-Chennelle Duckworth, Potomac, IL; four children, Brandon Hulsey, Attica; Elvin Hulsey, Potomac, IL; Arlene Hulsey, Potomac, IL and Malia Hulsey, Potomac, IL; his mother, Mary Lou Hulsey, Attica; a brother, Elton (Debbie) Hulsey, Lafayette; three sisters, Debbie (Randy) Dotson, Attica; Pauline (Raymond) Scott, Attica and Patricia (David) Rasnic, Attica. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Hulsey and a brother, Donnie Hulsey.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Thursday, August 25th, from 5:00 p.m. until service time at 8:00 p.m. Following cremation services, he will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
