Attica - Scott W. Haley, 62, passed away at his home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 7:50 p.m., following his illness with cancer.
Scott was born in the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, Indiana on May 17, 1963.  He was the son of James M. Haley of Attica and the late Ramona (Black) Haley.
Scott was a life resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School I 1981.  While in high school he was active in sports.  After graduation he attended Vincennes University and later took classes in machine trades and as a journeyman maintenance at Danville Community College and later Ivy Tech in Lafayette.  Scott worked for C & D Battery in Attica for 30 years working as a machinist.
He was a member of the Eagles Lodge # 2596 of Attica and the Moose Lodge # 1482 of Attica.  Scott formerly served as an assistant basketball coach for Ralph Shrader during Attica's 2000 State Basketball Championship.  He enjoyed playing golf, boating and taking golf cart rides with his pet dog, Nash.
On July20,1985, Scott married Lisa A. Woodrow in Covington, IN.
He leaves behind his wife, Lisa of 40 years along with a son, Kyle (Kelsey) Haley, Attica; his father, James M. Haley, Attica; a brother, Erich (Amy) Haley, Attica; two grandchildren, Hutch Patrick Haley and Hensley Rynn Haley, both of Attica; two nephews, Conner (Abby) Haley and Braden Haley, both of Attica; his four special girls, Lindsay Larson, Emily, Riley and Addie Shrader; his father and mother-in-law, Alan & Margaret Woodrow of Covington.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Haley.
A private family gravesite service will be held in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  A celebration of Scott's life will be held on Saturday, November 8th, from
1:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, 122 W. Main St.,  in Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Community Foundation "Mother's Love" .  Write "Mother's Love" Cancer Support in the memo on the check.
