Hillsboro - Sharon Kay (Hubbard) Tibbett, 76, Hillsboro, passed away in The Waters of Covington, on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 11:48 a.m.
Sharon was born in Montgomery County, Indiana on February 22, 1949.  She was the daughter of the late Glenn and Margaret Ann (Alexander) Hubbard.  Sharon was raised in Hillsboro, graduating from Fountain Central High School in 1968.  She later attended college in Indianapolis.
Sharon worked as a deli clerk for Kroger Grocery Store in Crawfordsville for 15 years until her retirement.
Sharon's favorite pastime was shopping at Cosco and Sam's Stores.
On December 22, 1972, Sharon married Harold Dean Tibbett in Covington, IN.
Sharon leaves behind her husband, Dean Tibbett of 52 years along with two sons, Michael (Jessica) Tibbett, Bloomfield, IN and Shannon Tibbett, Crawfordsville; two grandsons and a granddaughter along with three great-granddaughters.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Hubbard.
As per Sharon's request, cremation services were accorded her and a memorial gravesite service will be held at a later date in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro.
