Attica -Steve Pugh, 77, Attica, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, February13, 2022 at 11:15 a.m.
Steve was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia on January 27, 1945. He was the son of the Joe and Alice (Johnson) Pugh. Steve was raised in Virginia, moving to Indiana as a teen. He later moved to Attica in 1963.
Steve formerly worked at Harrison Steel Castings Company in Attica and later worked at Myers Steel Fabricating Company in Attica until his retirement in 2009.
Steve enjoyed sitting around visiting with family and friends. He enjoyed attending auctions and playing cards. In his early years he enjoyed working on cars.
Steve was formerly married to Georgie Collins .
Steve leaves behind his son, Steven Pugh of Attica and a daughter, Connie (Derek) Huff, West Liberty, IA; his former wife, Georgie Garcia, West Liberty, IA; two grandchildren, Derek and Kayla Huff; four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Telford, Ryker Telford, Harper Telford and Adaleigh Huff. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Claude, Clyde, Paul and Frank Pugh along with two sisters, Susie and Georgia.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Friday, February 18th, from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.
