Attica - Steven Bradley McCall, 62, Attica, passed away in the St. Anthony 's Healthcare Center, Lafayette, on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 7:55 a.m.
Steve was born in Lafayette, Indiana on October 27, 1960. He was the son of the late William Darrell and Margaret Anne (Mitchell) McCall. Steve was a life resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1979. He received a certificate in engineering drafting from IVY Tech in Lafayette.
Steve worked at Radio Material Corp., Myers Steel Fabricating, C & D Battery and Harrison Steel Castings Company until he became disabled.
Steve was active in the Attica community by volunteering his time with the Attica Volunteer Fire Department, serving as an Assistant Chief for 15 years. He also volunteered his time as an ambulance driver for the Fountain County Ambulance Service. He recently became interested in para-cording and enjoyed researching his genealogy.
On May 25, 2002, Steve married Ramona F. (Knowles) Wallace in Warren County, Indiana.
Steve leaves behind his wife, Ramona, of nearly 21 years along with two daughters, Tashina (Ryan) Gibson, Attica and Mykaela (fiancé - Skylor Lee) McCall, Darlington, IN; a step daughter, Samantha (Charles) Day, Attica and a step son, Bryan (Laura) Wallace, Boswell; a brother, Mitch (Kathy Hall) McCall, Attica; eight grandchildren, twins Rowan and Adrian Gibson ad Maggie Lee, Brady Stocker, Shayline Day, C.J. Day, Cody Battering & Miranda (Matt) Gobel;; two great-grandchildren, Castiel Stocker and Aaron Battering. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Thursday, March 23rd, from 12:00 p.m. until the service time at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Badgley officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund.
