Williamsport - Susan “Sue” (Cole) Anderson, 69, Williamsport, passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport on Friday, October 16, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Sue, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Williamsport, Indiana on March 31, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Damon Cole and Ethel May (Heidenreich) Cole. Sue grew up in Attica, Indiana and attended Attica Jr. Sr. High School, graduating in 1975. On December 15, 1990, Sue would marry James “Jimmy” C. Anderson. They would move to Williamsport, Indiana where she would continue to live for 35+ years. James would precede her in death on March 21, 2025. Sue would go on to work at Buckleys Store and later at Harrison Steel Casting Company, where she would work in the store room as a clerk until her retirement. Sue was a member of the Eagles Lodge # 2596. Sue leaves behind a son, J.D. Green of Williamsport, and two step-children; Aaron J. (Andrea) Anderson of Noblesville and Melissa Wesley of Otterbein. A Daughter-in-law, Dawnelle Green. Three Grandchildren; Sadie (Fiancé Nick Price) Kennedy, Michael Green and Bradley (Nicole) Green. Three Step-Grandchildren; Kendyl (Kassadie) Wesley, Evan (Courtney) Wesley and Joseph Stephen Anderson. As well as three Great-Grandchildren; Magnolia, Harper and Rhyatt. As per Sue’s request, direct cremation was accorded her, with no formal service to be held.
