Hoopeston, IL - Tamara "Tammy" Ann (DeZarn) Latawiec, 63, Hoopeston, IL, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at 10:54 a.m.
Tammy was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 6, 1959. She was the daughter of the late Laurence DeZarn and Mitte JoAnn (Hyde) DeZarn Box. Tammy was raised in Hammond and moved to Hoopeston in 2001.
She received an associates degree in nursing and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Tammy enjoyed listening to music and was a lover of animals. She enjoyed the time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was married to Edward "Butch" Latawiec. Butch preceded her in death on October 20, 2002.
Tammy leaves behind four children, Clyde Greeson, Milwaukee, WI; Lisa (Matthew) Elder, Highland, IN; Robert (Katherine) Bieker, Valparaiso, IN and Maggie Greeson, Hammond, IN; two sisters, Anita DeZarn-Shaffer, Hammond, IN and Becky DeZarn, Kentland, IN; a brother, Larry DeZarn, Valparaiso, IN; five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marsha Kras.
As per Tammy's request, cremation services were accorded her with no formal service being performed.
