Lafayette - Vicky Lynn (Abolt) Johnson, 66, formerly of Attica and Williamsport, passed away in her home in Lafayette,  with family by her side, on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:20 a.m.
Vicky was born in the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana on May 14, 1958.  She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Zeta Mae (Reynolds) Abolt.  Vicky was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1976.  On April 14, 1984, Vicky married Brian Leigh Johnson in the Williamsport Christian Church.  They lived in Williamsport for several years until Brian's passing on March 22, 2017.  Vicky later moved to Lafayette and has resided there for the past four years.
Vicky was a teacher for the Little People Preschool, held at the Williamsport Christian Church for 30 years until her retirement.
Vicky was a member of the Williamsport Christian Church.  She enjoyed flower gardening and decorating with the holiday themes.  She enjoyed her shopping, but most of all enjoyed the time spent with friends and family, especially with her grandchildren.
Vicky leaves behind her two children, Linley (Shawn) Whitcraft, Logansport and Brodie Johnson, Attica; a brother, David Abolt, Lafayette; four grandchildren, Nichole Hunter-Johnson, Harper Greer, Sydney Whitcraft and Leah Whitcraft.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Wednesday, March 12th, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 13th, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jesse Stoner officiating.  Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
