Lafayette - Wanda Lou (Isabell) Sichts, 77, Lafayette and formerly of Attica, passed away in the Franciscan Health East Hospital, Lafayette, on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 2:00 a.m.
Wanda was born in Frankfort, Indiana on September 26, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Oneil Isabell and Madie Elaine (Eaves) Vail. She was raised in Clinton County, graduating from Clinton Central High School in 1963. Later that year she moved to Attica.
Wanda formerly worked as the Assistant Vice-President and Manager of the Old National Bank in Attica for 24 years. She worked at the bank from 1981 until 2004. Following her retirement from the Bank she later moved to Lafayette in 2008 and worked with the M.A.I.L. Group in Lafayette until her retirement in 2020.
Wanda enjoyed gardening, golfing and reading. She enjoyed the time spent with her two pet dogs, Bailey and Buddy. She liked to spend time with a special friend, Ross Creasey of Terre Haute.  She also enjoyed traveling and gambling on the slot machines.
Wanda was first married to Gary Morris. She later married Janis "Jack" Sichts on June 28, 1993 in Henderson, KY. Jack preceded her in death on November 10, 2004.
Wanda leaves behind two daughters, Lisa Magee, Crawfordsville and Lori (Brian) Clark, Lafayette; two sons, Brent (Connie) Sichts and Mike (Lori) Sichts, both of Attica; ten grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren and one great-granddaughter on the way; two sisters, Charlotte (Lloyd) Smith, Frankfort and Becky Graves, Delphi. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Alfred, Leonard and Robert Isabell and two sisters, Hazel Montgomery and Georgia Short.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Thursday, April 6th, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors Joe Humrichous and Hunter Chadwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or to the Loving Heart Animal Shelter in Lafayette.
