Lafayette - Yvonne Michelle Rice, 54, Lafayette and formerly of West Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:59 a.m.
Yvonne was born in the Home Hospital, Lafayette, on June 5, 1968. She was the daughter of Paula J. (Pearson) Rice of Williamsport and the late Lewis C. Rice. Yvonne was raised in West Lebanon and graduated from Seeger Memorial High School in 1986. She has resided in Lafayette for the past four years.
Yvonne formerly worked at C & D Batteries in Attica.
Yvonne was baptized in the Pence United Methodist Church. She had been attending the West Lebanon Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed crafts and flower gardening. She was an avid reader.
She leaves behind her daughter, Haley Rice-Robertson (Taylor Rice-Bending), Lafayette; her mother, Paula Rice , Williamsport; her companion of 16 years, Mickey Stumph, Lafayette; her three grandchildren, Emerson, Oliver and Liam Robertson, Lafayette; two sisters, Lisa Stanfield, Waverly, TN and Leslie (Quentin) Prather, Lafayette; two nephews, Avery Stanfield, Waverly, TN and Ace Prather, Lafayette; two nieces, Kensley and Bella Prather, Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis C. Rice.
As per her request, cremation services were accorded her and a memorial gravesite service will be held in the West Lebanon Cemetery, on Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ann Williams officiating. A celebration of Yvonne's life will follow from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Trinity   Presbyterian Church, 301 S. Clinton St., West Lebanon, IN.
