Robert D. Maus
President, Funeral Director
Robert D. Maus, is presently serving as President of the Maus Funeral Homes. Mr. Maus is a life resident of Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1970. He attended Indiana State University and graduated from Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1973. Mr. Maus is married to Valarie S. Wesley. They have two children, a son, Nathan D. Maus and a daughter, Amy M. Maus. Mr. Maus is active in the Attica Free Methodist Church and the Attica Lions Club. Robert served as a district director for the Indiana State Funeral Directors Association District # 4.

Daryl W. Whitlow is a resident of Pine Village, graduating from Seeger High School in 1991. He attended Purdue University and graduated from the funeral service program of Vincennes University in 1997. He served his internship and received his Funeral Director License while working for Loose Funeral Home in Anderson. He has been a director with Maus Funeral Home since April of 2001.

Bonnie L. Childress is a resident of Attica. She began working at Maus Funeral Home in February of 2001. Bonnie had previously worked in the Pharmacy Department for the Williamsport Hospital and at Swadley Drugs in Attica. She is married to Robert P. Childress and has two children, Nathan and Travis.

Valarie S. Maus is the Maus Funeral Homes, pre-need Specialist. Valarie graduated from Attica High School in 1973. She married Robert D. Maus in 1974. She has been actively involved in the Maus Funeral Home since the passing of Robert’s Dad in 1996.

Valarie S. Maus is the Maus Funeral Homes, pre-need Specialist. Valarie graduated from Attica High School in 1973. She married Robert D. Maus in 1974. She has been actively involved in the Maus Funeral Home since the passing of Robert’s Dad in 1996.
Halsey Williams
Funeral Director
Halsey H. Williams was a resident of Hillsboro. He formerly owned Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro before selling the establishment to Maus Funeral Home. Halsey became a licensed funeral director in 1956. He worked in the Indianapolis area before moving to Hillsboro in 1964. He was married to Pat Williams and had four children, Linda, Bob, Susan and Marilyn.
We are sorry to report that Halsey Williams passed away on August 19, 2015. His presence in the Hillsboro community will be greatly missed. We are thankful for the time he was able to help our families in their time of need.

After serving his internship at Maus Funeral Home, he became a licensed funeral director in May of 2024. He has a son, Wyatt Robert Maus at home.
